My grandmother was a Dame. She was the daughter of Charles Henry and Annie K. Bullock Dame from Somersworth, N.H. and surrounding area. Infact I have the line starting in 1633 when John Dam, a Deacon of Dover, arrived here from England on a ship, the James, and the company of Thomas Wiggin. I have TONS of photos along with tin types, but lots with no names. You can contact me if you would like. I usually go be Tina. There is a book written by a John Scales from N.H. It is titled, John Dam, Deacon of Dover, NH. Nicholas was his brother and all it states is that it is believed that Nicholas went to the Virginia area and his brother, John, stayed in New Hampshire.
