According to the forward of the book, "Our Pennington Family", it contains "the direct lines of descent of William Timothy and Elizabeth Lincoln Dame Pennington and their progeny". A pedigree chart in the book lists Elizabeth Lincoln Dame Pennington as the daughter of Elizabeth Ramsey(ca.1829-p.1870)and Daniel Dame(1830-ca.1862),son of John and Elizabeth Oyler Dame. Most of the information in the book about John and Elizabeth Oyler Dame and family is taken from the Helen Morse Dame information and the biography of George W. Dame that is posted on the Marion County Website. There is some information from John's military record from the War of 1812 and from Elizabeth's application for a widow's pension that I had not seen before. The book also contains quite a bit of information about the Oyler Family and a little about the Arndt Family. I will be glad to send by email more detailed information from the book as well as a copy of the picture to anyone who is interested rather than make this posting too lengthy. The book is available through inter-library loan from the Mid-Continent Public Library in Independence, MO.
