I would like any info regarding Captain John Hudson Dame belived to be born in Tennessee and settled in Tillatoba, Mississippi or Yalobusha County. He served in the civil war, group unknown. The town of Tillatoba was changed to Dame Station in his honor and was changed back to Tillatoba when it was incorporated. His wife's name was Elizabeth Brown. Captain Dame was born 2-9-1826 and died 2-27-1913. Their children were William Dame, Lucinda Dame and Harvey Alford Dame b. 1870.
