Do you know what generation your Jonathan DAME is? The first one I can find is:
Jonathan5 (Richard4, John3, John2, John1) bpt 14 Apr 1726 m. Mercy Hanson VARNEY
He has son Jonathan6 b 21 Nov 1751 m Hannah PLAISTED but no son Jonathan listed and Scales does not carry the line further.
There is also a Jonathan listed as son on Hunking6, but he died age 9.
Jonathan does not seem to be a common name in the DAME information I have. My line is John5 (Richard4, John3, Johm2, John1) and I am always interested in this fascinating family. The New England Historical and Genealogical Society has published a great deal on the family. I found especially interesting the huge amount of information on the descendants of William2, even though it is not my direct line. Keep us posted. Lois
