Hi Dixie - My Margaret Dalziel was born 6 Jun 1762, Monktown, Lanark, Scotland. Her father was John Dalziel; however, the birth record didn't list her Mother. I'm searching for her mother's name and more info on John. Could this be your family? Margaret married James Moffat ca 1785, probably in Lanark.
