Does anyone have information on the Dalziel (Dalzell) family of Ireland/Scotland that includes a runaway daugther named Jean or Jan or Jane dob around 1826 who ran off with the family coachman. His name was John Davidson and they must have married in the mid 1840's. Scot Irish Presbyterian background. Family history indicates the family went to Scotland after marriage and then immigrated with their sons to Canada. I have no idea whether this was a fairytale or the truth.
