The William Dalziel I'm looking for died about 1884 so I doubt he would be your grandfather, possibly gggrandfather. Since posting the message I have found that his wife's name was Eliza, possibly maiden name St. Peter. Both went to the Dakota Territory from the Kewaunee, WI area.
