Walter, The only interesting thing I found was a Margaret Dalziel, Christened 21 June 1846 Peterhead Aberdeen Scot. parents Alexander Dalziel & Margaret Brown???

It was on the LDS Morman church site under ancestor search -

Couldn't find the matching siblings but thought it of interest. Do you know what religion they were? Protestant or RC? Those originating from Scot were usually protestant or at least church of England.

I am going to an internet workshop on Sat I'll see if I come up with any ideas for you.

Where did the Dalziels settle once in USA? Where are you situated? Have you tried that other posting that I mentioned re - Motherwell? You might connect there. I'll keep looking. Good luck.
