Carol,

I am a decendent of the Dazell family line that you are looking for. My great-grandmother is a sister to the Samuel that you are looking for born in 1888/9 and that died in 1917 with two sons, James (Clyde) and Arthur. I have lots of information regarding this line if you are still looking. His parents were William and Mary (Devlin) Dazell and William's parents were Samuel and Ann. (William also had a brother Samuel who died in infancy, which might be part of the confusion.) Also you have 12 children listed for William and Mary, they only had 11. Irene was their grandchild that they raised for their daughter.
