Sorry it took me so long to reply for some reason I was not able to log in. William James Dalzell was my GGGrandfather.I've been trying to trace him back to Scotland.My Dad Told me He immigrated to the United States by crossing over the Canadian border.He was Married to Maryann Matthews who was born in Malta 1840.My GGrandfather was William John Dalzell born 1875 in New Jersey and died in 1951 in Chatham ,New York.He was Married to Alice Traver.My Grandfather was Robert James Dalzell he was born 1901 in Chatham and died in July 1973 in Copake,N.Y..He was Married to Marjorie Westerfield.My Dad was Edward Raymond Dalzell.He was born 1936 in Ardsley,New York and passed Feb 2002 in Orlando,Florida.If you go to ancestry .com I can give you access to the tree I've started.I'd love to trade info.
