Dzel could be a variation of the Scottish Dalzell, which has over 200 known spellings. Dalzell is pronounced D'yel and the z makes a y sound. Also, many, many Scottish officers went to Russia to serve in the army for a time. I have not seen Dolezal before, but there is a Dolezall in Scotland, so I'm not sure where the other responder got her info. Hope this helps.
