Joseph was probably from the first wife. The first Andrew descendant from Dorothy Shepard we list came to U.S. (Uxbridge MA) when he was four, in 1705. According to my records, (from the website in the other message) Joseph was the youngest child and born here in 1714 in Morris, N.J. with first ANdrew/Janet child, John, born October 10, 1706. That website says Joseph was living in Dover as early as 1739, which is 25 years.
