re: Campbell Dalrymple (1725- 1767) of Carriden,
Gov. of Guadalupe / Guadaloup in Barbados,
(son of Sir Hew Dalrymple, Lord Drummore(1690-1755) and his wife Ann Horn). Did Sir Hew leave a will ?

Campbell Dalrymple m. Margaret Douglas and they had three sons and one daughter. He died 21 April 1767. Did he leave a will ?

A third son, Hew Dalrymple, was ADC to the Lord-Lieutenant in Ireland (date ..............).

I am looking for a possible brother of Campbell Dalrymple,
Thomas Dalrymple b. 16 June 1721 will dated 1779,
an attorney in Dublin, Ireland c.1755-1779.
He m.2ndly 1755 Rebecca Walker, g-dau of a Mayor of Dublin.
Thomas's death may have been confused with the death of Dr. Thomas Dalrymple of Edinburgh c.1721.
