Hi Cousin, My Mom was a Dalrymple born and raised in Sussex County,NJ. Her sister did
their family genealogy many years ago and traced it back to Andrew Dalrymple who married Janet [possible last name of Kirk or Kirkbride]. I agree with Alison Wallner that there is an uncertainty about their country of origin.I had Dunamoy,Scotland also, but in Salt Lake City Library found that it could have been Donoughmore, North Ireland. My records state that Joseph was born in
Scotland and came here at 25 years of age.
I do not have any information going back any
further, but do have more on descendants.
