I have been given conflicting information on my Barbary DALRYMPLE b) 1775 MA M) Lewis SCOTT d) 1856 Greenfield NY
I was under the impression that Lewis SCOTT's mother Rosannagh TAIT Scott died abt. 1780 and that her husband William SCOTT abt. 1790 married Charity GILLILAND and lived out his days in Greenfield NY. NOW I have been told that Rosannagh did not die but divorced her husband William SCOTT and went on to file intention to marry March 15, 1786 to Andrew DALRYMLE the uncle of Barbary DALRYMPLE. I was told that Andrew and Rosannagh DALRYMPLE settled in Whittingham, VT.
If ANYONE has any information on Andrew and Rosannagh SCOTT Dalrymple PLEASE help.
