Sorry I missed your post. The reference you sited is one which I have researched, The Hugh Dallos sited is my great grandfather. However the reference is mixed up in that the last name should be "Dallas" and all persons listed under Walter MacCauly have/had the last name of Dallas and are children of Hugh and Sarah Dallas. Thank you for your reply. I still have no information re: Hugh Dallas prior to 1862.
