Hi Marsha,
Thanks so much for your note. Yes I believe that is what I finally concluded. Not certain how the families all connect but it appears that James Williams had a sister who also married into the Pitts family.
It doesn't appear that we have discovered parents for either Mary Ann Pitts or John Griffith Pitts. Do you have more about this family?
