Do you have any documentation to prove that? No one has identified why the name Dallas was selected for the city in TX, other than a statement that John Neely Bryan made...that he named the city for his friend Dallas (who most believe was his friend back in Arkansas).

J.N.Bryan and George Mifflin Dallas didn't even know one another.

Not trying to argue....just want to set some facts straight and ensure the 'myth' doesn't continue.
