My grandmother Ellen Daley, was first married to John Cartmell who died in WW1 and then married Joseph O'Connor (my grandfather). Her sister was my aunty Cissy (Cecilia). She married my uncle Alfred and they had two children Ellen/Lawrence. There was a cousin Francis (who I met in the 1980s. He was disabled and lived in care; I think he was injured in WW2??).My mother was Mary Irene O'Connor (married Laurence Silk) and emigrated to Australia in 1963. I am looking for the name of my great grandmother and great grandfather, who would have lived in Shaw, near Oldham, Lancashire England.
