While at the library copying some obituary notices on family, I managed to get copies of some other obituaries, one being for John J. Daley. I thought I would post it here in the hope that it is useful to someone.
John J. Daley
Friends of John J. Daley, beloved husband of Mary (McKean) Daley, will be grieved to learn of his death which occurred yesterday morning at his home, 18 Manahan street, after a brief illness. He was well known throughout this city but especially so in the Acre section where he had lived prior to his removal to St. Margaret's parish. Mr. Daley was a valuable employee of the New England Laundry. Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, the Misses Barbara Anne and Patricia Marie Daley; his mother, Bridget (Rabbitt) Daley; two sisters, Mrs. Frederick Kelly of Biddeford, ME., and Miss Margaret Daley of this city and two brothers, Peter and Francis Daley, both of this city. The body was removed to the home of his mother, Mrs. Bridget Daley, 21 Smith avenue, by Undertaker Peter H. Savage Son.
