My ancestor was William Daly (or Daley) who came to Canada c1832 and is found in New Brunswick, Canada by 1848. He was from Cork, Ireland. He would have been under 6 years of age at the time he left Ireland. I do not know who his parents were. It is said that he had a brother who he visited in British Columbia, Canada but this may have been a son who I have found living there in the 1880s. I know of no links to Tennessee but the sister marrying in St. John (sic), New Brunswick is interesting. You can find out more about my Dalys at the following site: http://personal.nbnet.nb.ca/bobsweet/home.htm
