I really don't know for sure--he had a son Edward Allen Daley who is my husband's gfather,Edward married Louise Graf and they lived in Belleville ,Ill.area. We believe that Daniel was born in the Kansas City area. The story goes that Daniel just left one day and never returned. I believe that Edward was born in the St. Louis area. Keep in touch
