I've a good reason to believe my Gt, Gt, Gt Grandmother came from County Down, Northern Ireland, having been born in the year of our Lord 1818.
I've only got the details from this point after alot of hard work, due to family name changes between 1882 & 1905.
She moved to England at some point and married Hudson Barre a Soldier in Preston, Lancashire and so the family began....
Any information prior to this would be much appreciated.
