David Dale married an Elizabeth and had several children, starting with James David abt 1805,then Elizabeth, Robert, William, Louisa, Matilda and finishing with Anne Maria. He was a grocer in Knightsbridge and obviously a man of some standing as he was qualified by property ownership to vote in 1818. After his death his widow Elizabeth moved to Lewisham with her daughters Elizabeth and Anne Maria. There is a family story that he may have come from Scotland. Does anyone have any information as to his wife's name (she came from West Wickham, Kent) or have any connections with this family?
