Robert, How wonderful that your mother lives in Dalby Springs. I have not been there although I was reared in Daingerfield and my ggrandfather Richard Moore was one of the men who gave land for, chartered, etc. Mt. Pleasant. I have talked with a Mr. Clarence Dalby in Dalby Springs a few years ago as well as a relative of the Dalbys who had retired from working at the Dallas Public Library. I was looking for Peter and Rachel Waite's granddaughter, or ggranddaughter, Lallie. I just missed her. She had just died in the Eastern Star Home in or near Arlington, Texas. Agnes's father's will was reconstructed and as Anges and Polly H had died it listed their childrenh and there was a Rachel born to ____Wood and Agnes and Peter Waite was Rachel's husband and s/o Polly H Dalby and William Waite. I am presently trying to get those Waites straightened out for as you know George Waite was executor for Knight Dalby. Or was it Robert? I have that somewhere but it is nearly 10 p.m.. I am accepting of any correction as long as there is evidence to support it. I have the Bullocks in Leonard Dalby's book back to Jamestown and England. Thank God for Leonard Dalby! I understand that there was a Dalby reunion in Dalby Springs this week end. There was also a Truitt, another of my Republic of Texas ancestors, reunion in Daingerfield. I did not go, however. Rachel
