My ancestor is Bird Henderson Dalby sometimes referred to as Bumper which I was told by my grandfather that was a nickname.He is Jenny Dalby's brother.You an I have the same gggrandparents.Robert Warren Dalby and Rebecca Addie Matthews. Robert was born November 10.1838 in Knoxville Tenn. and was married August 09,1866 and died Dec. 01,1924 in Avery Tex. and is burried there next to his wife.She went by the name Addie, my grandfather was raised by them when he was a young boy as his mother went to live with them when his dad died of penumonia on Jan. 29,1900. Grandma Addie was born April 26,1846 in Dardnell Ark. and died March 26,1922 in Avery Texas. Her parents were John L. Matthews and Nancy Poe. Also Robert Warren Dalby's parents were Phillip A.
