Bob, I am in Texas. Where are you? We are descended from the same Dalby line. How wonderful that someone in the Dalby family stayed in ole Virginia. My ancestor, Knightingale Dalby m/1 Nancy Ann Bullock in Hanover Co. Va. in 1796 and was Mildred Dalby Fleming's sister. I have information to share. Knight and Ann Dalby went on to Granville Co., N.C. and then to Tn. where he died. Ann and most of her children and grandchildren were in Texas during the Republic of Texas in Bowie Co in 1839.
Let me here from you. I agree about the later Fleming in the Dalby family but can't find it right now.
