Toni, I do not recognize your Bedford co.Tn Dalby names; however, I have Dalby's who were in Bedford Co.from ca 1818 until about 1836. Edward B. Dalby s/o Knight Dalby and his wife Ann had a 1st son named Edward B. Dalby. He did not come to Texas with the other Dalby's after Knight's death. Edward had a son b. ca1835 m/1Harriet C. Jones 5 Jan 1836. Edward d. in Bedford co tn 1893 according to my information. I have been doing genealogical research for 36 years and just learned something! At http://www.ultranet.com/~deeds/deeds/htm you will find a wonderful long article about using deeds to find your ancestors. Wish I had known this sooner. Be sure to read it and if while you are in Bedford Co., Tn you find Agnes B. Dalby Wood's husband's given name please let me know. Do you know the Marshes? I use to talk with them on the telephone but I didn't do genealogy for about five years and last time I spoke with Mr. Marsh his mother was dying. How wonderful that you grew up in Bedford Co., Tn.
