Looking for any info on the parents and/or family of Jesse Irene Dakin b 1871 married George B Manis b 1861 at the home of the wife in Greenfield, Dade County, Mo.. She was married in 1884 and had five children. On her marriage application, a N H Dakin gave approval indicating that he was the father because of her age. In the US 1880 Census, the only Jesse Dakin that I could find was in Buena Vista, Portage Wis. and it indicates that Jesse was born in 1871 with the father being a William Dakins and the mother a Helen Warner. Info on the obit of William Dakins shows he died in 1916 in Springville, Wis. and indicates 4 of his children were deceased at this time but no names were given. It could be possible that the N on the marriage application could be a W. Any information regarding Jesse Irene Dakin, will be greatly appreciated.
