Hi,
I would like to know more information about a William RILEY who is a witness in a Grenville Co., Ont land record that my gggg grandfather, Eben SHERWOOD is purchasing land. Info in land record as follows:
Bargain & Sale; 28 January 1813; Augusta Township, Grenville co., Ontario; John ALDRICH saling front end of 14 Lot; 7 Concession; 100 acres to Eben SHERWOOD; witnesses: Immanual DAKE, yeoman & William RILEY, yeoman, both men from Township of Augusta; in presence of William RILEY & Hezelkiah MOSHER. signed by Eben SHERWOOD.
