Byron, I have developed an ever increasing family tree from Edward Deake/Dake but it is through Augustus' older brother, Immanuel, one of that families twins. A considerable part of that family is in Iowa and surrounding states. The oldest living member is in a health care facility in your state, Warren, MN comes to mind. I descend from John (Dr.) Deake so am a cousin. In your line are other Dake historians. One is John Hart of Houston. He is overseas most of the time. Another is Leanna Barber of Ankeny, Iowa. I am attending their family reunion in Iowa the first Sunday of July after having spent quite some time pursueing their/your family tree.
I don't have any info on your family after Augustus born 1769. Would enjoy sharing info. I've got 350 names on the tree mentioned above, including the Federal Marshall that hired Wyatt Earp.
