After reading all the postings, I see that there are sooo many Dakes in Michigan. Surly, I should be able to connect to someone. This part of my research is blank.
Looking for HENRY F DAKE b. abt. 1900. His parents were CHARLES DAKE and ANNA VANDER NUTT. He married Rhea F. Cooper on 8/17/1917 in Grand Rapids, MI. Their marriage certificate states that Henry was a "soiler, residing in Chicago prior to marriage. Rhea Cooper resided around Big Rapids, MI at the time of marriage so perhaps this is were Henry really was from. I can find nothing on this family after the marriage. Family believes that they moved to California and had two children, William and Virginia Dake that were born abt. 1920's. If anyone knows anything of this family, I would love to hear from you. Thanks so much in advance.
