I have the children of Magdalene Dake and Peter Haller/Holler but they are about 100 years before your husband's grandfather James Arthur Dake and their names would be Holler. There is an early John Dake who receives a land grant in Frederick Co., VA in 1762/63. I believe he is the progenitor of this Dake family.
