Tolcutt And Vashti Dake were My Grandfather and Grandmother. They homesteaded in Denver Township, Newaygo County, Michigan, Four miles East of Hesperia and 6 1/2 miles north of Fremont. I complied a great deal of family information and furnished it to my niece, Margie Howe who lives in Battle Creek. There are more than 2200 living relatives (Dakes) documented in that information. There is a Dake family reunion held in either Hesperia of Fremont every year in the month of June, either the last Sunday or the next to last Sunday. I don't have Margie's address with me today, I am at my daughters house, but I will get it and bring it with me tomorrow and send it on to you. I know she would be very interested in contacting you and furnishing youall the information she has. I am descended from Tolcutt & Vashti's son Charles Dake and their son George Julius Henry Dake (my father). I was born on the homestead that was the original property of Tolcutt.
While I was living in Michigan, I went by my middle name of Dean but when I went in the Air Force, it was strictly 1st name Middle Initial so now I am known as Ronald or Ron.

Sincerely

Ronald D. Dake
