Hi Shilo,
Although I don't have your Minnie Dake in my family, I am connected to the Dakes of Grand Rapids and Michigan (only by my great aunt Rhea Cooper who married Henry F. Dake in Grand Rapids). I have very little info on these Dakes. Loren Dake will probably be answering your posting soon. Loren and Connie Dawson seem to know quite a bit about the west Michigan Dakes. Have you check the postings on the Dakes cemetery listings that I posted. Do you see any names that are familiar to you. Good Luck.
