In searching for Violetta Niles, John's wife I found that they lived in Tioga Co, Pa where her ancestors had settled that area. And John & Violetta were there.
Exerpt from "History of Tioga Co., Pa" pg 265
"He was born in Washington Co., NY, Oct 14, 1791, and came to Beecher's Island, this county, in 1811; married Violetta Niles, dau of Nathan Niles....If you can connect with this I would appreciate it.
