Orrin V Dailey was born in MN 1850-1870. He married Augusta Diffendaffer (sp?) of Noble Co., IN between 1879-1890. She had previously been married to Nathan Geiger. Augusta also had connections to the Diffendaffer/Diffendarfer family that resided in Churubusco, IN. Augusta died when, or shortly after, their second child Myrtle Dailey was born Oct 1890. By 1909 he is listed as a locomotive engineer in San Diego, CA. There might also be a connection to the Grand Rapids, MI area. Myrtle had an older brother Jack or Harry who apparently moved to California with his father. Any leads would be appreciated.
