My gggg-greatgrandpa was Daniel Dale/Dail. He was born in either NY or PA and may have lived in VA for awhile. Family lore has it that he married a lady with the surname White who was originally from NY, then lived in VA as a planter, then moved west. Daniel must have been born about 1800. He lived in Fairmont, Martin co., MN in the 1850s. I'd love to find any information on him. The Dale forum group hasn't been productive. Any leads, hints, etc. appreciated.
