You are correct about your information about Carl Dahlin and his parents, Carl J. Dahlin and wife, Anna M. Dahlin. Carl died in 1946 and Anna in 1971 in Sparta, Kent County, Michigan, USA. They are both buried in Greenwood Cemetery in Sparta, Michigan. Their son, Carl Gustave Dahlin was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 25, 1908. On September 02, 1933 he married Dora May Allison in Williamston, Michigan, USA. She was born March 02, 1907 in Mancelona, Antrim County, Michigan. Dora was the sister of my father Gordon Allison. They had one son, Robert Douglas Dahlin born November 26, 1940 in Sparta, and now lives in Connecticut, USA. Carl (we all knew him as Uncle Gus) and his wife Dora died in a plane crash at Bryce Canyon, Utah, USA on October 24, 1947 after a trip to California to visit Dora's sister and her husband. Everyone on board was killed in the crash. Gus Dahlin was a banker at the Peoples State Bank in Sparta, Michigan. They are both buried next to his parents, Carl and Anna Dahlin at Greenwood Cemetery, Sparta, Michigan.
