Hi Monika,
It was wonderful to receive your reply. My mother, Patricia is the Emery's only daughter. I have emailed her a copy of your response. She will have more information than I. I am sure she has many stories to share. On my last trip to Arizona we spent the afternoon in Prescott. We visited the site of the old homestead and gold mine. There were scatter remains of pottery and the home. My Mom was sharing stories about the one room school house down the road and how it was a saloon at night. She recalls finding a hand of cards still held together by a gun shot throught the cards!
