We are trying to establish a link between our gg grandfather, Salomon Jackson (Jacobson) (1831/2Sweden-1879MN) and a Herman Jackson and his brother Christian Dahlin. Herman and brother Christian are listed on the 1870 census for Carver Co., MN. Herman was born in 1836 and Christian in 1834. Both were carpenters at the time. Christian was married to Johanna. Both Herman and Christian would move to Traverse Co. in MN. We don't know when Christian Jacobson changed his name to Dahlin. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
