I see it has been a long time since you posted this note but I do have some information.

My mother-in-law is Ruth Dahlgren Nault. Her great grandfather was Erik Dahlgren from the Lindberg parish. He was born Jan.5, 1810 as the son of the inn keeper Fredrik Dahlgren and his wife Catarina Andersdotter. Erik Dahlgren and his wife Carolina Andersdotter had the following children:
Son Carl August born 1833-05-26
Daughter Johanna Sophia born 1835-10-07
Daughter Inger Helena born 1838-02-08
Son Johan Adolf born 1840-06-23
Son Mauritz Leonhard born 1842-09-21
Son Frans Reinhold born 1844-11-24
Daughter Anna Christina born 1946-11-13
and Son Otto born 1850-03-08 was Ruth's grandfather.

She has found in the 1880 census in Alleghanny county in Penn. a listing for Fredrik that was 36 years old which is the same age as Frans Reinhold. The census lists wife as Annie who is 32. There are two children Matilda, 13 years old and Emma who is 10. All are listed to be born in Sweden. Fredrik is listed to be a saloon keeper. Ruth was told that one of her relitives did settle in Penn. while the rest went mainly to Minnesota.
