Please forgive if you already have this basic information, but since your relative carries the last name of Danielsdotter, I doubt her father's name was John. The Swedish patronymic naming system took the father's first name and added "son" for a son and "dotter" for a daughter. So Danielsdotter literally translates to "Daniel's daughter". So you're probably looking for a Daniel as her father.
