I am looking for the living descendents of Rear Admiral John Adolphus Bernard Dahlgren (November 13, 1809–July 12, 1870) for whom the Dahlgren Naval Base (King George County Dahlgren, VA) is named.
Here is what I know:
Bernard Ulric Dahlgren (1784-1824) and Marth Rowan are the parents of John Adolphus Bernard Dahlgren. John married Mary C. Bunker in 1839 and had Ulric Dahlgren (1842-1864) and Charles B. Dahlgren (1839-1874).
He then married Sarah Madeleine Vinton (1825-1898) and had Eric B. Dahlgren (1866-?), Ulrica Dahlgren (1866-?), and John Vinton Dahlgren (1868-1899).
Eric married Lucy Drexel in 1890. John Vinton married Elizabeth Drexel in 1899.
