Hallo! I’m looking for information about my Dahlgren-relatives who left Vilske Kleva, Västergötland, Sweden for USA 1880-1911. It was three sisters to my grand grandfather and three brothers to my grandfather. The three brothers Dahlgren was Verner, Fred and Eric, but most wanted information is a about the three sisters. The sisters were Christina Charlotta, born 1850 and Johanna Mathilda born 1855. They left the village at the same time and probably arrived at New York in 1882. I have no more information about them. Then it’s Clara Sofia who left 1888 with her husband John (he changed his name from Gustafson to Dahlgren in USA) and 8 children, Julia, Alma (married Lindquist), Ernst, Richard, Gust, Marie, Annie and Otto. This family came first to Minneapolis and then Alma and Otto came to Fresno, California. Otto joined the army for the World War I and is buried at the Golden Gate Cemetery. Ernst maybe worked as a miner in Marquette, Michigan 1899-1902. Is there maybe someone that can help me finding some tracks for my relatives?? Thanks in advance Torbjörn Dahlgren, Hallstahammar, Swede Notify Administrator about this message?
