I am stuck! I have an Ida Christine Hiltz, born 1844 Sweden, died 1924, Boston, MA. married to a John Wyman in Massachusetts. I was always under the impression that she was Ida Christine Dahlgren but am now beginning to think that Ida Dahlgren was her mother. I have a picture on which it is hand written Ida Christine Dahlgren and I had been assuming that she was the one married to John Wyman. I have recently gotten her marriage record and she is listed as Hiltz. The name Christine is said to have been used in every generation for over 200 years so there could easily have been 2 Ida Christine's (her daughter was Ada Christine). Ada told me a story about her grandmother living in Minnesota after coming from Sweden and that she went to town in a horse and wagon and a storm came up and she was never found.
Any ideas or suggestions appreciated.
