This common Swedish family name now has its own forum. My wife, Patricia Dahlgren, was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1947 as was her father, the late Albert M. Dahlgren, in 1916. However, Albert Dahlgren Sr. (1890-1972) was born in Sweden and was part of the massive emigration to North America prior to W.W.1. There have been Dahlgrens in N.A. for a long-time (eg. Admiral Dahlgren of the 19th century U.S.N. after whom Dahlgren, Virginia is named). Please post any comments, questions, etc. pertaining to the Dahlgren family here...
