I purchased a photo depicting 14 people (4 males and 10 females) seated outdoors in front of a church. It is identified on the back:

I found Donald L. Dahl listed with his family in the 1920 and 1930 Census data for Eureka, Humboldt Co., CA. I also found him listed in the California Birth Index. He was born 8 Oct 1918 in Humboldt Co., the son of Finnish immigrants, Alexander Dahl, born about 1875, and Alexandra Mattson, born about 1880. The children were all born in CA. Donald's siblings included Chester A., born about 1903; Edith, born about 1906; Walter A., born about 1908; and Roy, born about 1910.
