Hi,
I'm researching the family of Stephan Berthelsen DAHL (b 1799,Borkop)and Johanne Hansdatter DAHL (b 1807,Follerup) of Herslev, Vejle, Denmark. They had at least the following children: Hans Stephansen b 1833; Ane Stefansen b 1837; Bertel Stefansen b 1841 and Niels Stephansen b 1849. Niels immigrated to the U.S., first to Iowa then to Colorado.
Hans Stephansen b 1833 m Ane Marie LAURITSEN (Laursen) in Vejle and had the following children: Johanne Stephansen b 1865, Laurids Stephansen b 1867, Stephan Berthel b 1870, Hans Peder b 1872, Helen Marie Kirstine b 1875, Niels Marius b 1878, Anna Marie b 1879, Hansine b 1882.
Laurids, Hans Peder, Niels Marius and Helen all immigrated to the U.S. Larids to Iowa, Hans, Helen and Niels to Colorado.
