George Dague - Wood Co., OH

Does anyone out there have information on a George Dague of Wood Co., OH? He was listed in the 1860 census as being 43 and his wife Mary was 41. There was also a Robert, age 19 - farmer by occupation - who I'm assuming was their son. A Melissa Ellen, age 10, was also listed with this family. Melissa was my gg-grandmother and was born Melissa Ellen Belston. The Dagues took her and raised her as their own.

I'm trying to find out the connection between George Dague & John Charles Belston, Melissa's father. (Her mother has been listed as Mary Baumann, b. 1819 and she died 8 Jan 1850 in Wood Co., OH - at Melissa's birth.)

Any help or information will be greatly appreciated - I'm grasping at invisible straws trying to find out about my ancestors...and I'm about ready to say they invented the Witness Protection Program!

Thank you!
